List of Canadian Seed Suppliers

My first year gardening I’ll admit… I was scared to experiment. and if I’m being honest, I still am. As a beginner, I feel a lot more confident buying from a well-known supplier that seems more ‘tried & true’ in an attempt to try and compensate for my lack of knowledge and experience.

The thing is, all producers have their place and offer each of their own benefits. In addition to finding varieties that may not be sold elsewhere, you may also find that seeds from one producer are more acclimatized to their specific region. IE. If you are looking for a more cold hardy tomato, you may find that buying from a producer located in a colder growing zone will yield a more cold tolerant strain than a producer that has grown their seeds, of the same variety, in a warmer climate.

So, if you’re looking to experiment or support somewhere local, definitely check out my list!
& If you know of another company that sells online, let me know!!

Additional Maps & Resources

Keep in mind that I have chosen to include seed suppliers that offer online ordering, as this is an online blog and readers are Canada wide. There may quite well be a local seed supplier just around the corner from you that’s not listed here, be sure to check with your local gardening resources to see!

One more foot note, if you’re a points saver like me Microsoft Cashback does offer a 5.39% cashback on your purchase.
